Title: Translate-a-thon: (Co-)curricular community translation and student engagement
Description: The University of Michigan’s Language Resource Center organizes an annual translation marathon; inviting students, faculty, staff and local community members to come together for two days and translate community based projects. While our event is co-curricular, over the years we have had increasing interest in incorporating these projects into language classes.
