Title: Understanding the impact of course flexibility: Too little or too much?

Description:

There are three distinct phases of pandemic teaching that we can identify: 1) Pivoting, 2) Emergency, and 3) Remote. However, this semester has shaped up to be an undeniable fourth phase; a phase that mixes elements of all three phases. Nonetheless, one challenge has remained throughout: How can faculty balance providing compassion with how students complete work in class? It is clear that expectations and allowances have changed.

This session will follow a flexible format, un-webinar. The webinar agenda and content will be determined by participants. Bring your questions around managing flexibility in your course with compassionate, yet rigorous teaching.
